Classical Dressage Riding Holiday - GOLD PACKAGE - Beginner to Experienced Riders - 5 Day (4 Night) Getaway

The four night getaway is designed to provide our guests with an opportunity to work on their riding goals while enjoying a relaxing escape in a beautiful part of Victoria. 

Daily itinerary

Day 1: Monday - Arrival day

Settle in and have a wander around the property, this is an opportunity to meet all the horses, dogs, cats, cocky, and, of course, their beloved donkey. There will be a fully catered Australian welcome barbecue dinner.

Day 2: Tuesday

In the morning, Avoca Park will have you arising and preparing for your first lesson in in-hand work. After your lesson you will be given the opportunity to go on an excursion to one of our local attractions with a homemade picnic lunch  Some of our riders have visited Puffing Billy Railway or Healesville Native Sanctuary. Upon returning to Avoca Park, your horse(s) will be saddled for you and ready for your private lesson with one of our coaches. Afterward, this will be followed up with a lovely local glass of wine with matching cheese and crackers. A home made Dinner will be prepared for you..

Day 3: Wednesday

In the morning, Avoca Park will have you doing your second in-hand session. Followed by a relaxing massage by a professional masseuse at Avoca Park. Our guests normally will visit the local town of Emerald and will enjoy a lunch off site at a location of their choice. Alternatively they are welcome to stay onsite and relax and an additional lunch option can be selected. 

Alternatively, you may choose to have an outing to the local chocolaterie for lunch where you can experience anything and everything chocolate. Full of food and relaxation, you will come home for your private riding lesson to continue developing your riding skills. At 6:00 p.m., Avoca Park will bring on the happy hour followed by another wonderfully prepared dinner.

Day 4: Thursday

In the morning, Avoca Park will have you out and about for your group or semi-private lesson. It is another excursion day withe a picnic lunch provided. Once you return home from your fun afternoon, you will have your final private lesson with one of our qualified coaches..

Wine and snacks will be waiting for you when you finish this amazing experience. Your final dinner with Avoca Park will be beautifully prepared and there will be a time to discuss your future riding plans.

Day 5: Friday

You can sleep all morning followed by your final breakfast with Avoca Park. It will be time to pack up and Avoca Park will wave you goodbye to take on the next part of your journey. (an additional riding lesson may be arranged at your request).

Riding sessions

Before your arrival we will discuss your riding goals for your equine holiday and we will design a program that will rapidly aid you in the development of your skills. Avoca Park will talk about what you would like to achieve during the days you are with us, and we will customize an individual program for your riding objectives. There will be a combination of semi-private, group and private riding lessons each day with all the amazing instructors and their combined talents.
